Memorial Death Sayings

Prabhakar Pillai
Death is a poignant and a significant event. William Shakespeare once said, "All that live must die, passing through nature to eternity." It emphatically conveys a strong message. Let's take a look at some memorial death sayings.
In various cultures, they say that death completes the cycle which starts at birth. While birth of a child is an arrival of a new life on this planet, death is the culmination of the process and the journey of a soul to where it belongs.
We sit and think, pray and question, why death is so brutal? We wish we had some more time with our loved ones. Their memories bring tears mixed with smiles. We grieve, but at the same time know, that there is a time for everything on earth and that we have to learn to cope with our loss.
In a way, it is our responsibility to honor and preserve their warm memories. They may have led a life of sacrifice and patriotism. We have to learn to express our gratitude and love to them by preserving them in our thoughts, and one way of expressing our feelings is through these memorial sayings.

Deck them with garlands, those brothers of ours,
Lying so silent by night and by day
Sleeping the years of their manhood away.
Give them the meed they have won in the past;

Give them the chaplets they won in the strife;
Give them the laurels they lost with their life.

It is sad to lose someone you extremely love, and equally difficult to find strength and move on. But by preserving fond memories of your beloved, you bring hope and gratify them by remembering their sacrifices with simple dignity and true equality.
Time will heal the pain, and your loved ones are watching you from above, asking you to feel them in the wind, see them in the stars and remember them in your smile. Memorials are just a nice way to remember the soul of the deceased, and bid them a nice goodbye.
